Angela Horman, RN, BSN, IBCLC

 

Angela is a Registered Nurse and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant.  She began her career as a Neonatal ICU (NICU) nurse at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.  In the NICU she was afforded the opportunity to work with breastfeeding moms from all walks of life, many of whom were pumping to provide milk for critically ill babies prior to transitioning to breastfeeding.  

Her special interests lie in prenatal education, breastfeeding children with food protein allergies, low milk supply, oversupply, and succesfully returning to work while continuing to breastfeed.

Angela has been in private practice as Baltimore Breastfeeds LLC for nearly five years.  She has sucessfully breastfed four children of her own, and looks forward to providing strategies to help you meet your breastfeeding goals.
